My client are a busy developer and are looking for a project director to join their team. They have a very large pipeline of work and are looking for someone to ensure this is all completed on time and within budget.
The business are a residential led developer and will mainly be looking at HMO conversions converting 3 bedroom terraced houses to HMOs. The successful candidate will ideally need experience of converting properties to HMO.
This role will be based remotely, and you will be working very autonomously. You will be working across the regions and will be ideally based in the North of England. You will be based on site around 2-3 days per week, ensuring that deadlines are met, meeting with building control and be a very important part of the business growth. Ideally you will be from a construction project management background or building surveying.
Requirements:
- Candidate must have specific experience in converting or modifying residential property.
- Knowledge of HMOs and converting from C3 to C4 use is desirable, as this is the very nature of the role.
- Can provide their own team of contractors- demolition, plumbers/electricians/joiners etc
- Ability to adhere to varying HMO regulations as per local authority guidelines.
- Management and co-ordination of tradespersons based on a specific schedule of work.
- Experience in liaising with Building Control.
- Ability in organising materials to sites.
- Appropriate qualifications and construction management background desired.
- Excellent organisational skills essential.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines to deliver completed properties.
- Full Driving License
